Jennifer Lawrence Gets Public Advocate Family Advocate. What?
Jennifer Lawrence Promotes Kim Davis for New Film
Kim Davis. Yes, the Kim Davis from Kentucky is being
"promoted" by Jenifer Lawrence in genuine Hollywood fashion
for a new movie, which she has already described in
a recent interview (see Hollywood Reporter report below).
Public Advocate would never have thought of this new movie
concept by ourselves. We do have a video hailing Kim Davis
on our website but the reality of a major motion picture
production which would be independently produced would not
have occurred to us without Jennifer Lawrence.
Hence the family advocate award.
"Thank You" JL For Movie Concept.
From the Hollywood Reporter:
Jennifer Lawrence Says Kim Davis Makes Her "Embarrassed to be From Kentucky"
In a wide-ranging 'Vogue' cover story, the actress also reveals how she was to blame for the fight she and David O. Russell had on the set of 'Joy' and talks about the future of her career.
Kentucky native Jennifer Lawrence wasn't happy to see Kim Davis, the county clerk from her home state, make news a few months ago for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
In a cover story for the December issue of Vogue, Lawrence told the reporter who mentioned Davis' name, "Don't even say her name in this house."
Instead, Lawrence referred to her as the "lady who makes me embarrassed to be from Kentucky."
"All those people holding their crucifixes, which may as well be pitchforks, thinking they're fighting the good fight," added Lawrence, "I grew up in Kentucky. I know how they are."
