Articles of Impeachment Seem Warranted

As we warned here at Public Advocate just a few days ago, the President has publicly stated he does not consider marriage as relevant to child rearing. He directed the Department of Justice to state that in DOJ documents defending the federal position in a law suit filed against the Defense of Marriage Act.

Together with the Homosexual Lobby he is attempting to separate the raising of children from tradtional marriage.

We responded with a warning that this meant he was headed in the direction of an attack on America's and, the world's, children.

We are not surprised that he is now directly taking over the education of America's children. We warned he was headed in the direction of removing parents completely from their authority and right to rear their children in their tradtional God-fearing manner.

His planned address this Tuesday to America's children along with a curriculum distributed by the federal department of eduction--- is an impeachable offense as it is now fitting a pattern of going outside his authority as president under the Constitution in seeking to undermind the long established Constitutional right of parents to be the primary educators of America's children.

He will not stop with this first "instruction" at the beginning of the year. He will do it frequently to our children. If we allow him.

We are not the only website, group or opinion warning against this and asking for political action. Here is a representative editorial, among thousands, that state the obvious:

From the Washington Examiner: "Using the full resources of the federal government to go over the heads of parents and advise millions of public school children on how to conduct their lives is without precedent in American history.....(and)A speech by the nation's leader exhorting students "to get focused and inspired for the new school year" would not be surprising in Havana, Caracas or Pyongyang.

News Article Obama speech to students draws conservative ire

"As far as I am concerned, this is not civics education - it gives the appearance of creating a cult of personality," said Oklahoma state Sen. Steve Russell. "This is something you'd expect to see in North Korea or in Saddam Hussein's Iraq."
