Eugene Delgaudio, president of Public Advocate says "God Bless Charles Ramsey, America's hero for rescuing three women in Cleveland. He is the most unlikely person to expect such heroic action but like other Americans who were called without warning, Charles Ramsey rose to the occassion without delay and took immediate action to save three women who had been chained in slavery and who were the subject of a search for many years."
"All Americans should take a moment to appreciate the good humor and humble but brave actions of one man who simply and directly chose to respond to a call for help," said Delgaudio.
In a later interview Ramsey said "You do what you gotta do". Mr. Ramsey by his quick response shows how one man can show a world how much good can accomplish when there is such evil in the world-- even just next door to you without you even aware of it.
