Tennessee Fights Back, Public Advocate Responds with Support
In a message to supporters of Traditional marriage, Eugene Delgaudio,
president of Public Advocate says in part:
"Tennessee is fighting back against the assaults of the Homosexual Lobby.
Coordinating with massive public protests, TN's own Rep. Mark Pody and Sen. Mae Beavers filed the Tennessee Natural Marriage Defense Act last week.
This bill asserts that natural marriage is only between "one (1) man and one (1) woman as recognized by the people of Tennessee" and that your constitutional amendment remains the law of the land.
This bill is a direct rebuttal of the outrageous ruling of the U.S. Supreme Court last year.
Please call your Rep or Senator and ask them to pass H.B. 1412 Tennessee Natural Marriage Defense Act and to become a co-sponsor.
