Janice Dean, Meterologist

Public Advocate President Eugene Delgaudio announced Janice Dean of New York as the Family Advocate award recipient. Dean faced overwhelming odds in seeking accountability for the wrongful death of her in-laws and championed single handedly a public campaign to pressure all of society to regain some sense of justice for thousands of others wrongfully killed as a result of Governor Andrew Cuomo's policies to place elderly Covid patients into nursing homes.

Dean emphatically and regularly publicly campaigned for Cuomo's punishment without let up or surrendering to the nasty public derision of the Cuomo Criminal Mob in government and her own news media collegues in the industry. It is due to this singular leadership that the legislature and other victims of Andrew Cuomo, 11 victims of his sexaul assaults, were able to gain media attention and political support from legislators who now claim Cuomo abused his power, after the fact.

There is no question that Janice Dean was the moral force and clear leader of the forces for reforming New York government that made it possible for other government officials to finally follow their sworn duty to stand with her. This makes Janice Dean our Family Advocate awardee.

The Hill reports:

Fox News senior meteorologist Janice Dean cheered as New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) announced his resignation on Tuesday following a state attorney general's report that found he sexually harassed nearly a dozen women and faced a threat of impeachment.

"Omg ... It's happening ... He. Is. Out. God bless America," Dean said in a series of tweets posted during Cuomo's speech, during which he quibbled with the details of the AG report but said he accepted responsibility for "mistakes" he had made relative to his interactions with women who have worked for him.
