ELON MUSK ASKS UNITED NATIONS ABOUT THOUSANDS OF CHILD SEX VICTIMS BY U.N. EMPLOYEES
THANK YOU Elon Musk for asking the United Nations leadership today about the thousands of sex assaults on little children around the world as reported for years, by United Nation's employees, according to the reports. This topic has been ignored by most major news media until now. And you are the first world celebrity to ask the question publicly, " said Eugene Delgaudio, president of Public Advocate.
CHILDREN as young as nine traded oral sex for food from UN peacekeepers in warzones while officials looked the other way, a shocking new report has claimed.
Memos about the sexual abuse in the Central African Republic were "passed from desk to desk, inbox to inbox, across multiple UN offices, with no one willing to take responsibility", the report found. It added: "The welfare of the victims and the accountability of the perpetrators appeared to be an afterthought, if considered at all."
The investigation revealed that French peacekeepers from the UN's children agency, UNICEF, failed to act on reports of sexual abuse in early 2014 in the midst of civil war.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon expressed "profound regret that these children were betrayed by the very people sent to protect them" and said he accepted the panel's broad findings., " Express of UK reports.
THE TIMES OF UK (United Kingdom) has an earlier report:
UN staff have carried out thousands of rapes around the world, a former senior official has claimed.
Andrew MacLeod, who was chief of operations at the UN's Emergency Co-ordination Centre, said that "predatory" abusers used development jobs to get to vulnerable women and children.
He estimated that 60,000 rapes had been carried out by UN staff in the past decade, with 3,300 paedophiles working in the organisation and its agencies.
"There are tens of thousands of aid workers around the world with paedophile tendencies, but if you wear a Unicef T-shirt nobody will ask what you're up to," he told The Sun.
"You have the impunity to do whatever you want. It is endemic across the aid industry across the world." (said MacLeod).
The United Nations, heavily subsidized by U.S. taxpayers' dollars, has faced a widespread child sexual abuse problem for years and reacted with little more than silence.
On February 28, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres confirmed that UN peacekeepers and civilian staff faced 145 allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse impacting on 311 victims in 2016 alone. There are nearly 40 cases so far in 2017. Many of the victims, by the UN's own admission, are children.
Even the UN recognises that these numbers, while huge, are likely to be the tip of the iceberg and represent only the crimes that have been reported, involving mainly just one part of the UN: Peacekeeping.
These numbers are a small proportion of the sex and child rape crimes committed by UN staff and peacekeepers over at least the last two decades. Neither the sex scandals of the UN in the Bosnian War dramatized in the 2010 film Whistleblower nor the long-running "Food for Sex" scandals of the early 2000s. are covered in these figures.
