San Francisco Mayor Repudiated - Public Advocate Asks for Contempt Warning
Public Advocate lauds the California Supreme Court for standing up to the radical homosexual lobby by invalidating the bogus marriage certificates given to homosexual couples by the Mayor of San Francisco earlier this year.
The political move by the Mayor violated state laws and the express wishes of California Voters who have rejected the idea of gay marriages at the ballot box.
"We were relieved to see that the California court resisted the temptation to give into the growing trend of radical judicial extremism by obeying the law and invalidating these so-called marriages," said Eugene Delgaudio, President of Public Advocate. "Hopefully more courts will once again remember that their job is to enforce and interpret laws, not rewrite them. The Mayor of San Francisco should be put on notice that further attempts to mislead the public or push same sex marriages outside the law will be sanctioned with contempt of court."
