Republicans are pouring money into Texas to help Ken Paxton for Senate

"In the competitive U.S. Senate race, James Talarico has owned the airwaves for months. That advantage has now evaporated.

President Donald Trump's Super PAC has spent nearly $10 million on the race this month alone, while another associated with Senate Republican leadership has spent more than $60 million in ads that will run this month. Elon Musk's PAC is spending nearly $2 million for Ken Paxton.

In current spending for the month of September, Republicans are outpacing Democrats in the race by more than $70 million. It's a large gap in an election Democrats think they can win.
